Dr. Sumit Karmakar,

Dr. Sumit Karmakar is a Consultant Anesthesiologist and critical care. He Passed MBBS from Guwahati Medical College, thereafter completion of one year rural posting he did Diploma Anesthesiology from Assam Medical College,Dibrugarh. Then he did his DNB Anesthesiology from Bombay hospital Indore. Then after he joined Dr PK Saha hospital as Consultant Anesthesiologist and critical care. He is qualified and skilled to handle critical patients with multiple comorbidities and provide anaesthesia and post operative care and specialises in peripheral nerve blocks and post operative pain management.

Dr Kaustuv Dutta is a Neuro anaesthesiologist and Intensivist with over 11 years' experience in the field. He has done his MD and DNB in Anaesthesia followed by DM in Neuro anaesthesia and Neuro Critical Care from the premier institute NIMHANS in Bangalore. He has worked extensively in providing safe anaesthesia and Neuromonitoring for complex spine and cranial surgeries. He has provided anaesthesia for awake craniotomy, Deep Brain Stimulation, Brain tumours, Epilepsy surgery and cerebral aneurysm surgeries. He provides the best possible care for recuperating patients in the Neuro ICU with intense monitoring and prompt recognition of complications. He has more than 15 publications in national and international indexed journals and numerous awards and recognitions to his credit. He has worked as a Consultant in Neuro anaesthesia and Neuro Critical Care in Apollo hospital, Bangalore and was a former Assistant Professor in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in a Central Institute, NEIGRIHMS in North East. He also has keen interest in management of chronic pain syndromes.
