Department of ENT has world class surgical microscope with HD recordings facility. We have high end micro-debrider which is best in the field for surgeries of nasal polyps and tumours of nose and PNS and skull base surgeries. ENT dept also has a special equipment - Coblator, which is used for blood less surgeries of tonsils adenoids and other vascular tumours of nose and PNS. We have high speed drill which is used in mastoid surgeries and other faciomaxillary surgeries. We have very high-end endoscopic unit for surgery.
ENT OPD of Dr. P. K. Saha Hospital is fully equipped with opd endoscopic unit where all day care procedures like ear endoscopy, nasal endoscopy and laryngoscopy are done. Minor procedures like ear cleaning with suction & clearance, foreign body removal, Gromet insertion etc are also performed on day-care basis.
ENT department of Dr. P.K. Saha Hospital has a fully functional audiological unit with Audiometer , Tympanometer and OAE. Electrophysiology-based tests like BERA are also done here. A complete hearing assessment is possible with a scope for rehabilitation with hearing aids..
We have a fully functional allergy clinic with the facility of skin prick allergic tests and immunotherapy. It is the only dedicated allergy centre in the region.
