Doctor details: He is an experienced senior general surgeon with special interest and expertise in laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgery. He completed his MBBS from prestigious N.R.S medical college and hospital and did housestaffship in gereral surgery.He ,then completed 3 yrs MS training in general surgery from eastern Europe from Yerevan State medical University, Armenia. After coming back to India he worked as surgical registrar in the Dept. of MIS, under dept. of surgery at AMRI hospitals, Dhakuria, Kolkata for 2 yrs then as SR in dept. of surgery at CMRI hospital, Khidirpur, Kolkata for another one one and half years. He was also a member of Bariatric and metabolic surgery team led by one of the pioneer bariatric surgeon in eastern India.
He had basic and advanced laparoscopic surgery/MAS training from AIIMS, Delhi and PSG hospitals, Coimbatore. He had also done Diploma and fellowship in minimal access surgery (DMAS, FMAS) from World laparoscopy hospital, Gurgaon. ​
He is life member of SELSI (Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India), ASI (The Association of Surgeons of India) and WALS (the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons). ​
He has been performing gall bladder, all types of hernia, appendix, perforation, piles, fissure, fistula and bowel surgeries at Dr. P. K. Saha hospital since 2013 and successfully performed many critical open and laparoscopic surgeries till date.

Cases

This is a case of 55 yrs old male patient having colon cancer. Patient was unable to eat and pass stool due to bowel obstruction as it was a huge tumor. He successfully underwent right hemicolectomy with complete removal of tumor and was discharged thereafter without any significant complications
